Hi! I'm Jade. I'm alive today because someone cared enough to have me
vaccinated.
But my best friend Max wasn't vaccinated and died when he was
only twelve weeks old .
I'm so sad about Max because he was so sweet and didn't have to die.
A few dollars for a vaccination would have saved his life.

Most small adoption centers really try hard to do the best they can
to take care of us until they find a good home. But they just don't have the
money to vaccinate all of us against terrible diseases like
which killed Max and thousands of others every year.
So many die painfully and so many are put to sleep because they are infected.
There is no cure for other horrible diseases like Feline Leukemia & Feline
Infectious Peritonitis but they can prevented by vaccinations. That's where
we can help.
Send us a picture of your pet along with any contribution you can afford. A
dollar, five dollars would be great, and we'll put your pet's picture here
in Max's House as a sponsor. All the funds we raise together will be
used to vaccinate sheltered and homeless pets.
Every month we'll post a list of all the pets your contributions helped
vaccinate, together with as many of their pictures as possible.
We can't save all of them, but each of us can save a few; and those few will
not infect another few; and those few won't infect another few, and before too
long we will have saved many of these warm, loving, wonderful little
creatures that enrich our lives so much.
